Worms

Worms is a 2D turn-based artillery strategy game developed by Team17, originally published by Ocean Software and later by Infogrames, offering team-based worm combat across destructible landscapes for up to sixteen players. This is the Platinum budget re-release edition, published by Infogrames under Sony’s standard value re-release programme, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands.

The game is presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc, and the case carries a hologram, consistent with the later Infogrames pressings of this title. The release is English-language only. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. The Platinum edition is one of several later variants issued after Infogrames acquired publishing rights, alongside the Reprint, Best Of Infogrames, and Value Series Best of Infogrames editions, all of which share the hologram case characteristic absent from the original Ocean releases.
