Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider is the landmark 1996 action-adventure game developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive, following Lara Croft through ancient ruins and lost cities in pursuit of the Scion of Atlantis. Its long commercial run in the UK gave rise to several distinct budget and value-tier releases.

This Value Series Black Label edition is a UK release dated 8 September 2000 and shares its base Riccochet pressing, presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with a standard Hologram on the case and containing a single disc in English. What distinguishes this variant from the standard Riccochet edition is the addition of a Value Series yellow band printed across the front cover, identifying it as part of a separate value-pricing initiative running alongside the Riccochet programme. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. This is one of fourteen catalogued PAL variants for Tomb Raider, and the Value Series yellow band makes this a visually distinct and collector-relevant pressing.
