Supersonic Racers

Supersonic Racers is a PlayStation racing game developed by Supersonic Software and published by Mindscape, offering multiple race modes including grand prix events, demolition derby knockouts, and multitap multiplayer for up to eight players, and known outside PAL markets as Dare Devil Derby 3D.

This original release is the France-specific PAL pressing, issued on 15 October 1996. It comes in a standard Full Jewel PAL single-disc case with no hologram on the case, and supports English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish across its multilingual disc. Despite being a France-assigned pressing, it shares the same serial as the other PAL variants and is distinguished only by its own unique EAN barcode. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs have been documented with this release. Of the three catalogued PAL variants for Supersonic Racers, this French pressing is a clearly distinct item by barcode, and a natural inclusion for collectors building a complete set of the game’s PAL territory releases.
