Revolution X is a rail shooter developed by Software Creations and published by Acclaim Entertainment, based on the 1994 Midway arcade game featuring rock band Aerosmith. Players battle against the oppressive New Order Nation across several international locations to rescue the kidnapped band members, using light-gun style shooting mechanics.
This is the German original release, carrying serial SLES-00151 and released on 12 April 1996. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with no hologram on the case. German and English are the supported languages. A notable physical detail is the presence of a round black case sticker reading “DEUTSCHE VERSION,” confirming the German-market localisation. No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs are included. Two PAL variants of Revolution X are catalogued in total, and this German edition is the more regionally distinct of the two, set apart from the broader multi-territory European original by its dedicated serial number and case sticker.
