Revolution X is a rail shooter developed by Software Creations and published by Acclaim Entertainment, based on the arcade original by Midway. Set in a dystopian future where the oppressive New Order Nation has kidnapped rock band Aerosmith, players shoot their way through enemy-infested international locales to rescue the band members.
This is the European original release, carrying serial SLES-00129 and released on 12 April 1996. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with no hologram on the case. The release covers a wide range of territories, distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, with English as the sole language. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. Only two PAL variants of Revolution X are catalogued in total, making this broad multi-territory pressing the primary edition collectors are likely to encounter.
