Resident Evil

Resident Evil is the landmark 1996 survival horror game developed by Capcom Production Studio 4 and published in Europe by Virgin Interactive, following S.T.A.R.S. agents investigating a zombie-infested mansion near Raccoon City. The title is one of the most influential games in PlayStation history.

This is the UK White Label edition, carrying serial SLES-00200 and released on 27 October 2000. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with a hologram on the case. English is the sole language. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. Sixteen PAL variants of Resident Evil are catalogued in total. This White Label release shares an EAN barcode with the UK Value Series White Label variant, and distinguishing between the two requires careful examination of the release type designation on the packaging. Both represent late-era budget re-releases from the final years of the PS1 format.
