NBA in the Zone is a basketball video game developed and published by Konami, and the first entry in Konami’s NBA in the Zone series for PlayStation. The game falls under Konami’s XXL Sports brand and offers five-on-five basketball with an emphasis on arcade-style play.

This is the sole catalogued PAL variant, carrying serial SLES-00171 and released on 14 April 1996. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with no hologram on the case. The release covers the UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain, with English as the sole language. A notable feature is a rounded square holographic NBA Logo sticker on the case, separate from any PlayStation hologram, which is a useful identifying detail for collectors. No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs are included. With only one PAL variant catalogued, this original pressing is the definitive European physical edition of the game.
