Micro Machines V3 is a miniature-scale racing game developed and published by Codemasters, the first three-dimensional title in the Micro Machines series, offering 48 courses across household environments alongside weapons, power-ups and multiplayer racing.

This is the original Italian launch edition, released on 15 March 1997. It is housed in the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case format with no hologram on the case, containing a single disc. The release supports English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Loose paperwork includes the Micro Machines V3 registration card, and the case carries a round gold press-quote sticker citing scores including a 5 out of 5 from C&VG. No bundled demo discs are present. The Italian original is distinguished from other country-specific original pressings by its unique EAN barcode (5024866240115), and is one of fifteen PAL variants catalogued for this title.
