Micro Machines V3 is a miniature-scale racing game developed and published by Codemasters, introducing three-dimensional environments and weapon power-ups to the series for the first time, across 48 inventively designed household-scale courses.

This is the French Platinum budget re-release edition, dated 1 February 1998. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case with a hologram on the case, and contains a single disc. The release supports English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Loose paperwork includes the Micro Machines V3 registration card, and the case carries a round silver press-quote sticker. No bundled demo discs are present. This variant moves from the original Mini Jewel Black Bordered format to the standard Full Jewel Platinum presentation, and is distinguished from the German, Italian, UK and Iberian Platinum editions by its individual EAN barcode (5024866240214).
