Mass Destruction

Mass Destruction is a mission-based third-person tank combat game developed by NMS Software and published by BMG Interactive Entertainment, tasking players with completing 24 missions across diverse environments while piloting one of three tanks, each with distinct performance characteristics. The game has frequently been compared to Return Fire for its similar approach to vehicle-based destruction.

This original PAL release, dated 15 November 1997, covers the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain under a single pressing. It comes in a standard Full Jewel PAL single-disc case with a Hologram A on the case, and supports English, French, German, and Spanish. A BMG Registration Card is included as loose paperwork, consistent with BMG Interactive’s standard practice for their releases. No case stickers or bundled demo discs have been documented. Despite BMG initially planning to rename the game Tank for European markets, the Mass Destruction title was retained. As the only PAL variant catalogued for this title, this pressing is the sole physical record of the game’s PAL release.
