Magic Carpet

Magic Carpet is a 3D flying game developed by Bullfrog Productions and published by Electronic Arts, originally released for MS-DOS in 1994 and widely praised for its innovative graphics and gameplay. The PlayStation version, based on the Magic Carpet Plus compilation, includes the original game alongside the Hidden Worlds expansion with 25 additional levels and winter-themed visuals, with the port handled by Krisalis.

This is the sole catalogued PAL variant, carrying serial SLES-00211 and released on 15 March 1996. It is housed in a Full Jewel Black Bordered PAL case containing a single disc, with no hologram on the case. The release covers the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands, with English, French, German, Spanish, and Swedish all supported. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. With only one PAL variant catalogued, this multi-language original pressing is the definitive European physical edition. The black-bordered PAL case format gives this release a distinctive physical character compared to the more common standard Full Jewel PAL cases from the same period.
