Johnny Bazookatone

Johnny Bazookatone is a 3D side-scrolling platformer developed by Arc Developments and published by US Gold, following the imprisoned guitar hero Johnny through a futuristic musical adventure across multiple worlds. This original PAL release is dated 15th January 1996 and covers the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

This variant is presented in a Full Jewel Black Bordered PAL case with a single disc and no hologram on the case, distinguishing it from the standard Full Jewel PAL version released in the same territories. The release is English-language only. Included loose paperwork is a US Gold Holford Registration Card. A Blue Rectangle case sticker bearing review quotes from GamePro, Saturn Plus, and Sega Pro is present on the case, a detail shared with the standard PAL jewel case variant. No bundled demo discs are included. The black-bordered case format is less commonly seen than the standard jewel case and makes this the more visually distinctive of the two known PAL pressings.
