Firestorm: Thunderhawk 2

Firestorm: Thunderhawk 2 is a combat flight simulation game developed and published by Core Design, sequel to Thunderhawk AH-73M and known as Thunderstrike 2 in North America. The game puts players in control of a military helicopter across a series of combat missions, and was released on PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and MS-DOS in 1995.

This is the German Platinum re-release, carrying serial SLES-00144. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with a hologram on the case. German is the sole language. As noted in research, the German version carries a red keylined Thunderhawk logo and a front cover notice reading “Komplete in Deutsch.” No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are present. Twelve PAL variants of Firestorm: Thunderhawk 2 are catalogued in total, and this Platinum edition is one of several budget re-releases in the game’s extensive PAL release history, identifiable by its Full Jewel PAL case and case hologram.
