Firestorm: Thunderhawk 2 is a combat flight simulation game developed and published by Core Design, and is the sequel to Thunderhawk AH-73M. Released in 1995 across PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and MS-DOS, it is known as Thunderstrike 2 in North America and tasks players with completing a series of military helicopter combat missions.
This is the German original release, carrying serial SLES-00144 and released on 10 December 1995. It is housed in a Multiway Jewel One Disk case containing a single disc, with no hologram on the case. German is the sole language. As noted in research, the German version features a red keylined Thunderhawk logo on the front cover, and the cover states “Komplete in Deutsch,” confirming full German localisation. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. Twelve PAL variants of Firestorm: Thunderhawk 2 are catalogued in total, and this original launch pressing in its Multiway Jewel One Disk format is physically distinct from the later Full Jewel PAL re-releases.
