Fade to Black is a 1995 action-adventure game developed by Delphine Software International and published by Electronic Arts, serving as the sequel to Flashback. Set in a fully 3D environment, the game follows Conrad B. Hart across a blend of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving on PlayStation and MS-DOS.
This is the Platinum budget re-release covering the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Sweden, carrying serial SLES-00209 and released on 1 May 1997. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with a hologram on the case. Languages supported include English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. Six PAL variants of Fade to Black are catalogued in total, and this Platinum edition is identifiable by its case hologram and Platinum labelling, distinguishing it clearly from the original no-hologram launch pressing. As a Sony Platinum re-release, it arrived approximately a year after the original and broadened the game’s availability across the PAL region.
