Doom

Doom is the landmark 1993 first-person shooter originally developed by id Software and ported to PlayStation by Midway Studios San Diego, published by GT Interactive Software and Williams Entertainment. The game placed players in the role of a space marine battling through demonic hordes across the moons of Mars and into hell itself, and is widely regarded as one of the most influential titles in gaming history.

This is a Value Series Best of Infogrames budget re-release, carrying serial SLES-00132 and distributed across the UK, France, and Spain. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with a Hologram A sticker on the case. English is the sole language. Loose paperwork includes an Infogrames Blue Registration Card, which should be checked for completeness. No case stickers or bundled demo discs are present. Four PAL variants of Doom are catalogued in total, and this edition combines both the Value Series and Best of Infogrames branding, distinguishing it from the similarly badged Hologram B variant.
