Doom

Doom is the landmark 1993 first-person shooter originally developed by id Software and ported to PlayStation by Midway Studios San Diego, published by GT Interactive Software and Williams Entertainment. The PlayStation edition delivered the game’s iconic corridor-based shooting and survival horror atmosphere to a wide console audience, featuring over 50 levels of content.

This is the Platinum budget re-release, carrying serial SLES-00132 and covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with a Hologram A sticker on the case. English is the sole language. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. Four PAL variants of Doom are catalogued in total, and this Platinum edition represents the standard Sony-badged value re-release of the game, identifiable by its Hologram A case and Full Jewel PAL packaging, in contrast to the original launch pressing.
