Doom

Doom is the landmark 1993 first-person shooter originally developed by id Software and ported to PlayStation by Midway Studios San Diego, published by GT Interactive Software and Williams Entertainment. The PlayStation version brought the iconic demon-slaying gameplay to console, with the player assuming the role of a space marine battling through hordes of undead and alien invaders.

This is the European original release, carrying serial SLES-00132 and released on 16 November 1995. It is housed in a Multiway Jewel Two Disk case containing a single disc, with no hologram on the case. The release covers the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, with English as the sole language. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. Four PAL variants of Doom are catalogued in total, and this original launch edition in its Multiway Jewel Two Disk case is physically distinct from the later Full Jewel PAL re-releases, making it of particular interest to format-conscious collectors.
