Descent

Descent is a first-person shooter developed by Parallax Software Corporation and published by Interplay, placing the player in a spacecraft navigating mine complexes across the Solar System with full six-degrees-of-freedom movement. One of the first FPS titles to use entirely true-3D graphics, it was well received on PC before its PlayStation conversion.

This is the UK and Scandinavian Original release, covering the UK, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark under a single pressing with its own distinct EAN barcode. It is presented in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, in English only, and carries no hologram on the case. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are documented. The recorded release date is 14 May 1996. The inclusion of Scandinavian territories within a single pressing alongside the UK is a notable regional packaging detail, and this variant is of particular interest to collectors pursuing Nordic PAL releases.
