Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain is a top-down action-adventure game with role-playing elements, developed by Silicon Knights and published by Crystal Dynamics. Released in 1996, the game follows Kain, a nobleman resurrected as a vampire, as he cuts through the corrupt sorcerers of Nosgoth’s Circle of Nine while wrestling with the nature of his dark transformation.

This original PAL release, dated 14 November 1996, covers the UK, Italy, and Spain under a single pressing. It comes in a standard Full Jewel PAL single-disc case with no hologram on the case, and is English-language only. A BMG Registration Card is included as loose paperwork, a standard inclusion for BMG Interactive releases of this period. No case stickers or bundled demo discs have been documented. Of the three PAL variants catalogued for this title, this pressing is the broadest in territorial coverage, serving three markets simultaneously, while separate serials were issued for France and Germany.
