Alien Trilogy is a first-person shooter developed by Probe Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment, based on the three original Alien films and offering 30 levels of single-player combat with motion capture-driven enemies. This is the Platinum budget re-release edition dated 1st July 1997, covering the UK, Netherlands, France, and Italy.

Presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc, this variant carries Hologram B on the case, distinguishing it from the original launch release which bore no hologram. Language coverage includes English, French, Italian, and Spanish. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demos are included with this edition. The Platinum label was Sony’s standard budget re-release programme, indicating the game had performed well enough commercially to warrant wider, lower-price distribution across these territories.
