Vandal Hearts is a turn-based tactical role-playing game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and published by Konami for the PlayStation. Players take on the role of Ash Lambert, a soldier navigating political intrigue and ancient threats in a 3D battlefield environment with sloped terrain adding strategic depth to each encounter.

Two PAL variants are currently catalogued in the database, both original releases. These cover the UK as a separate pressing, and France, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands as a combined multi-territory edition, with both housed in Full Jewel PAL cases. Each variant contains a single disc and carries a Hologram A sticker on the case. English, French, and German are supported across the PAL releases. No Platinum editions, budget re-releases, or bundled demo discs have been documented. Released on 1 June 1997, Vandal Hearts arrived as a well-regarded entry in the tactical RPG genre, a category with limited representation in the PAL PlayStation library at the time. The game’s niche appeal and the absence of budget re-releases make both catalogued variants of interest to collectors seeking complete original pressings of tactical RPG titles from this era.
