SLES-00025
Initially Released 1 July 1997
Swagman is a 1997 action-adventure platform game developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive, in which players control twin siblings Zac and Hannah as they battle the nightmarish villain Swagman, a powerful entity who traps people within their own dreams forever. The title blends platforming with adventure-style gameplay and drew creative influence from the works of Tim Burton.
The database catalogues a single PAL variant, dated 1 July 1997, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain in a combined multi-territory pressing. This original release is presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case and contains a single disc. Language support includes English, French, and German. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs have been documented for this release. As the sole catalogued PAL variant, this pressing represents the only known physical PlayStation release of Swagman for the European market. The title’s relative obscurity compared to Core Design’s flagship Tomb Raider series makes it of particular interest to collectors seeking complete coverage of the studio’s PAL PlayStation output.
