Shellshock is a near-future tank action game developed and published by Core Design and released for PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and MS-DOS in 1996. Players assume the role of a rookie recruit joining Da Wardenz, a rogue anti-terrorist mercenary tank unit formed by veterans abandoned by the US government, working through missions that blend vehicular combat with a gritty military narrative.

The database catalogues three PAL variants, all original releases, covering France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK. All three are presented in Full Jewel PAL cases with a single disc, and none carry a hologram on the case. Language support across the PAL releases includes English, French, and German, distributed across the respective regional pressings. The earliest PAL release is recorded as 19 April 1996. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs have been documented for any variant. The three variants follow a straightforward regional split, with the UK, Italy, and Spain sharing one pressing, France and Germany each receiving their own separate edition. For collectors of Core Design’s early PlayStation output, Shellshock represents a less prominent but historically interesting title from the studio’s mid-1990s period.
