Rayman is a side-scrolling platform game developed by UbiSoft Entertainment Montpellier Studios and published by Ubisoft Entertainment, originally released in 1995. Conceived by Michel Ancel, the game follows the limbless hero Rayman as he pursues the villainous Mr Dark to recover the stolen Great Protoon and restore balance to his world, rescuing captured Electoons across a series of themed worlds along the way.
The PAL release landscape for Rayman is well represented, with four variants catalogued across the database. Releases covered the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, and include both Original and Platinum editions alongside later Reprints. All known PAL variants are presented in the standard Full Jewel PAL case format with a single disc, and text is available in English, French, and German.
