D is a horror-themed interactive movie and adventure game developed by Warp and directed by Kenji Eno, published by Acclaim Entertainment for the PlayStation. Players control Laura Harris as she investigates a castle-like hospital where her father has barricaded himself following a killing spree, navigating the environment through FMV sequences with a strict two-hour in-game time limit and no save function.
Three PAL variants are catalogued in the database, all Original releases. One multi-territory pressing covers the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, while separate localised editions exist for Germany and France specifically. All three variants use the Multiway Jewel Three Disk case format to accommodate the game’s three discs, and none carry a hologram on the case. The multi-territory English pressing is documented as carrying a round black sticker reading “ENGLISH VERSION” on the case. Language support across the range includes English, French, and German via the localised pressings. The earliest recorded PAL release date is 15 March 1996. The three-disc format and distinct regional pressings make D an interesting multi-variant set for PAL collectors.
