Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain is a top-down action-adventure game with role-playing elements, developed by Silicon Knights and published by Crystal Dynamics. First released in 1996 for PlayStation, it is the opening chapter of the Legacy of Kain series, following the vampire Kain as he traverses the cursed land of Nosgoth seeking revenge and a cure for his condition.

Three PAL variants have been catalogued, spanning the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. All are original editions, each presented in a standard Full Jewel PAL single-disc case with no hologram on the case. The UK pressing also covers Italy and Spain under a single serial, while France and Germany each have their own distinct country-specific releases with separate serials. Language coverage across the PAL range includes English, French, and German. A BMG Registration Card has been documented as loose paperwork included with releases. No bundled demo discs or case stickers have been recorded. Blood Omen is a highly regarded and narratively ambitious PS1 title, making any complete PAL pressing a desirable find for collectors of the era.
