Actua Golf 2
SLES-00044
Initially Released 5 September 1997
Actua Golf 2, released as Fox Sports Golf ‘99 in North America, is a sports simulation game developed and published by Gremlin Interactive for PlayStation. It is the sequel to Gremlin’s original Actua Golf and was released in Europe in September 1997, with a North American release following in 1998. A Sega Saturn version was planned but ultimately cancelled.
The database catalogues a single PAL variant for Actua Golf 2. That release, dated 5 September 1997, was distributed across the UK, France, and Germany. It is presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc and features a Hologram A on the case, placing it among the mid-era PAL releases that adopted hologram case authentication. Language support covers English, French, and German. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are documented.
As the sole catalogued PAL variant, this pressing represents the definitive European physical release of the title, and the presence of Hologram A on the case is a useful reference point for collectors authenticating complete copies.
